Summer Favourites from Hush
Hush, one of my favourite brands has shot its summer collection in Byron Bay. I can totally understand why, picture perfect and with a lifestyle on offer that’s jumped straight out of Instagram, it’s a little bit of heaven on the Eastern coast of Australia.
My husband keeps going on about Byron too (I knew he’d fall in love with Australia!), so for this week’s post I’m going to show you my favourites pieces from its summer collection, that I would like to wear on holiday.
The look in Bryon, aside from the young hip, cool surfer style, is laid-back summer chic and it’s well-matched pieces put together, rather than overtly trendy. I can totally see why Hush filmed there, the collection offers key easy pieces that are fussy-free, simple and elegant. You wear the clothes, rather than, they wear you. Here are some of my faves and don’t worry where it says sold out, these are staple pieces and it’s more out of stock, and they’ll likely be back in soon.
The Crete Striped Tunic is so simple that you can wear it in a number of ways. I would wear with flats as seen here. Good ole Berkenstocks, for a classic look. However, I’d also carry a belt in my bag and perhaps some of those tassel ear-rings that everyone is wearing, or a scarf, because you could wear it to the beach, as a cover up, and off to the beach bar, with ease.
Sticking with beachwear, I like a cover-all Kaftan. After a day on the beach, I just want something loose and this Antiqua Tie Dye Kaftan comes close to perfect in my eyes. Great colour, v neck so it lengthens your neckline, with side splits for comfortable walking. Add an armful of bangles, sunnies and big bag.
Talking of beach bag. Let’s carry on carrying on with this Amour bag. I love it. Carrying big bags also make you look smaller. Fact.
This Reversible Pineapple Jumper comes in two colourways, blue and grey, as you see here, and yellow and grey. Not out of place on holiday in this country, it would also be lovely to wear travelling to your destination or kept to hand for cooler nights.
My love for the midi skirt continues and this Davos Perforated Skirt ticks all the boxes. It’s pretty, feminine and I love it here with the denim jacket, erm, which I’d also like. Again, you can really switch this skirt up, think bardot jacket, silver pumps and hair in a top knot or scarf. Add sunnies, to go.
I think the perforated skirt would also look fab with this Byron Jacket. If only my budget would allow me more blazers, I would opt for a soft pastel shade like this option to add to my wardrobe. A lot of the time I wear black, so this blush shade would soften and give my staple clothes more wear.
